Hello, I'm Nergiz. I was born and raised in Tarsus. When I was 7 years old, my uncle became a believer first, then my father.
In 2002, a community started to form in my uncle's house. My uncle and his family, an American family, 2 German families, a Turkish family and a Turkish family, me and my father started to attend the community at my uncle's house every Sunday. As I grew older, I began to want to know the Lord Jesus Christ more and more in my heart and to be his true disciple. The real change started in 2016. I had decided to commit myself completely to the Lord, so in 2019 I attended the Good Shepherd theology training, which was incredibly effective for me.
In 2020, I attended the Philip theology training which lasted for 1 year. I moved to Ankara to take the Philip training and lived there for 1 year.
In order to learn how to serve in the Churches in connection with the Philippus training, we went to Kyrgyzstan as leaders and students and served there for 1 month. It was an incredibly beautiful experience for me.
In July 2021, I graduated from the Philippus training, after which my life of service began in an effective way. In 2022, I got married and moved to Istanbul and now I live in Istanbul with my husband and we serve in Çekmeköy Kurtuluş Church. My husband is the worship leader and I am the Children's ministry leader.
We have a desire in our hearts to do Youth Ministry. The Lord has put this ministry on our hearts. We would be very happy if you would pray for us.
